• Develop cost effective products for Electro Mechanical products
• Develop Mechanical architecture for products – Vehicle packaging, Material selection, product design – plastics and metals, meeting customer requirements, testing and validation
• Customer & supplier interactions
• Develop and follow Uno Minda product development processes
• Responsible for DFMEA, Design for Assembly(DFA), Manufacturing (DFM), Tooling (DFT), Cost etc.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Tooling supplier, Manufacturing teams to translate project goals into relevant design solutions.
• 2D drawings, 3D CAD/surfacing and industry standard CAD tools hands on experience.
• Creation and Maintenance of design documentation.
• Support and co-ordination for prototyping.
• New idea patents submission – self and team
