We are now looking for a Senior Engineer Software and Engineer Software to join our team in the Tampere office!
We offer you an opportunity to serve our customers with interesting and meaningful software projects.
You will be responsible for:
- design, coding, testing, bug fixing, documentation and technical support in the assigned area.
- on time delivery while adhering to quality and productivity goals.
- adhering to guidelines and checklists for all deliverable reviews, sending status report to team lead and following relevant organizational processes.
- for customer collaboration and interactions and support to customer queries. Expected to enhance technical capabilities by attending trainings, self-study and periodic technical assessments. Expected to participate in technical initiatives related to project and organization and deliver training as per plan and quality.
What you need to succeed
You have gained work experience to be able to apply knowledge effectively and deliver results. You are able to demonstrate the ability to analyse and interpret complex problems and improve change or adapt existing methods to solve the problem.
You regularly interact with interfacing groups / customer on technical issue clarification and resolves the issues. You participate actively in important project/ work related activities and contribute towards identifying important issues and risks. Reach out for guidance and advice to ensure high quality of deliverables.
You are consistently seeking opportunities to enhance existing skills, acquire more complex skills and work towards enhancing proficiency level in your field of specialisation.
Following skills are required:
- C++, Objective-C
- Lua, shell scripting
- Familiar with Linux, Unix or MacOS environment
- Willingness to travel globally and work short times abroad, even some exotic places like Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, etc.
- Senior level requires proven track record on daily working on multicultural environment and additionally understanding on production and device manufacturing, test automation for production and familiarity on factory environments.
Education and Experience Required
Engineering graduate etc. B.Sc., M.Sc, or similar on computing sciences, Experience: 2-5 years
