We are now looking for (Senior) Engineer - FPGA / Embedded Software to join our team in the Tampere office!

Purpose of the position
We are looking for an FPGA / Embedded Software ( Senior) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing FPGA-based systems and participating to embedded SW development. You will work closely with other engineers and developers to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience and interest work with both FPGA designing and with embedded software solutions. You will provide technical expertise needed in customer project sales process and consultation services for Customers.
Key tasks and responsibilities
As FPGA / Embedded Software ( Senior) Engineer you must have profound knowledge and you have designed FPGA solutions and developed software for embedded devices and systems , from requirements to production and commercial deployment. You perform needed tests to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance of the design and diagnose issues and bugs, providing effective and timely solutions. You share knowledge, support the team, and assist with technical training. You help Sales, Customers, and the Project Manager with technical quotations and project planning.
What you need to succeed
Technical Proficiency: Experience in FPGA design and VHDL/Verilog programming. Good command of C/C++ for embedded systems, experience with real-time operating systems. You need to understand digital electronics and signal processing on decent level.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design and system issues effectively.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being a self-starter capable of working independently.
Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education and Experience Required
The post requires B.Sc. or M.Sc. or equivalent degree, at least 2 years ( >4 for senior position) of relevant work experience and good understanding/experience of the project business. It is mandatory to have expertise from FPGA development and have some embedded software skills.
